The Adelola Scholarship Story

15 year old Adelola has fought early child marriage, gender discrimination and bullying. With the support of Hope For Future Foundation student scholarship program Adelola will succeed in her educational dreams and fight against poverty.
Officially education is free and mandatory for all children aged 6-15 years in Nigeria, but many schools continue to charge unofficial fees. Nigeria's Secretary of Education said in 2017 that an estimated 10.5 million kids were not enrolled in school. We need to hold our leaders accountable.
